The works of Verena von Lichtenberg were presented in Tokyo on two occasions, in 2014 and 2016.
In 2014, the artist notably exhibited the Nord Licht series as part of an international artistic program dedicated to light and perceptions of landscape. This period marks an important step in the recognition of her work abroad, particularly in Asia.
In 2016, she continued her presence in Japan with the Lumière Australe series, further developing her research into light, chromatic vibration, and the depth of pictorial space.
These two successive presentations in Tokyo are part of a dialogue between the major cycles of her work, between North and South, between interiority and luminous expansion.
