The Painter Verena von Lichtenberg is in Japan in the Museum Takamatsu
January 1 – February 28, 2015

The museum is composed of several levels. It hosts temporary exhibitions, a permanent painting collection, ceramics, and an extensive collection of masks from all five continents.
Part of the museum is dedicated to collections and techniques illustrating the history of photography. Visitors can discover representations of paintings, prints, as well as artistic instruments and machines, from their origins to the present day.
The opening reception of the exhibition in Takamatsu featuring artworks by Verena von Lichtenberg took place on January 2 at 3:00 p.m. Television crews were already present from 2:00 p.m.
Among the distinguished guests were the Prefect, a Member of Parliament, and the patron of the exhibition. During the opening reception, we also welcomed a representative of Art Communication. In addition, the exhibition received radio and television coverage in both Japan and France.
The Japanese government sent a letter of encouragement in support of the continuation of cultural exchanges between France and Japan.
