Verena von Lichtenberg at the Ward-Nasse Gallery
The works of Verena von Lichtenberg have been presented for several years at the Ward-Nasse Gallery in New York, one of the oldest independent art galleries in Manhattan. This ongoing presence reflects the strong interest in her work from the American public and the recognition of her artistic approach on the international art scene.
Through her various series, particularly Nord Licht, the artist explores the relationship between light, colour, and depth. Her abstract compositions invite a contemplative experience in which light seems to emerge from the pictorial matter itself. Exhibited repeatedly at the Ward-Nasse Gallery, her works engage in an ongoing dialogue with international contemporary art movements while maintaining a singular identity, rooted in the exploration of light as the central subject of painting.
