Exhibition of Verena von Lichtenberg – Tobe, Japan (2019)
The paper works of Verena von Lichtenberg were presented in dialogue with her works on linen, around the Asian Lights series, highlighting the duality of supports and the richness of the artist’s research between materiality, light, and transparency.
The director of Matsuyama Radio, Mr. Sunano, travelled specifically for the exhibition. On this occasion, a radio interview was organized to present the event, allowing the artist’s approach and work to reach a wider regional audience.
On May 11, 2019, the opening reception gathered a large and institutional audience. In attendance were the Mayor of Tobe, the Deputy Mayor for Culture, the Cultural Delegate of the Prefecture, the Director of the Radio Station, as well as several other local and cultural figures.
