Following several notable participations in exhibitions organized in Alalpardo, in the Community of Madrid, and in Buc–Versailles, France, Verena von Lichtenberg gradually contributed to the development of lasting artistic and cultural ties between the two territories.
Invited on numerous occasions to present her work at these international events, the artist did not simply exhibit on a one-time basis but accompanied these initiatives over several years, presenting different major series from her artistic journey. Through these exhibitions, Spanish and French audiences were able to discover the evolution of her work through various cycles of research dedicated to light, depth, spatial perception, and inner landscapes.
This regular and ongoing presence helped establish a genuine artistic dialogue between the two regions. Through her different series, Verena von Lichtenberg contributed to creating lasting connections between cultural actors, institutions, artists, and audiences in both countries.
Over the years, these exchanges grew stronger through a shared commitment to promoting contemporary art and encouraging encounters between artists of different nationalities. This dynamic ultimately led to the creation of an artistic twinning between the museum space of Buc–Versailles and the Casa de Cultura Al Artis in Alalpardo.
As patron and ambassador of this cultural partnership, Verena von Lichtenberg played a key role in building this artistic bridge between France and Spain. Her continued commitment, the quality of her successive exhibitions, and the relationships developed over time greatly contributed to the emergence of this exemplary cultural cooperation.
Today, this twinning stands as a remarkable example of international artistic collaboration, fostering cultural exchanges, the discovery of new talents, and encounters between collectors, art enthusiasts, professionals, and institutions from both countries.
